Richard Prince

I've always loved his joke paintings.Art should provoke a feeling from you and his joke paintings always make me laugh even though sometimes I don't always get the joke.I also love the scale of his work.

Simon Fenoulhet

http://www.simonfenoulhet.co.uk/

Simon is currently teaching the installation module on my course at university.
He is a lovely guy and his work is stunning.

"Cellular (below) was made for a group show “Addiction’ at Tactile Bosch 2007, an artist run space in Cardiff. Hundreds of coloured rubber bands were arranged in a cell like pattern on a white board and photographed onto 35mm slide. In the gallery the slide was projected onto the wall and a second layer of ‘cells’ added by gluing rubber bands directly onto the wall in between the projected bands. The result is a mixture of real and depicted bands that go together to create one image."
